  I can only assume that Belushi’d be spinning, were he aware that Barry Manilow is being touted as “You’d think this is [great], too” next to Otis Day & The Knights. Sam Cooke and Alan Jackson aren’t a “1 & 1 make 2″ combo. If anyone needs to know, an it looks like all of evrabody do, buying anything by Mr. Cooke look nice, get Otis and the Knights, Louie Louie what it look like, and don’t forget Tina Turner and Ike. Speaking of Mr. Ding Dong himself, I am really writing this review to ask a question: who knows about George Clinton’s production of Otis Day & The Knights’ 10-or-so song album, “Shout”? I have heard that it is too synthesized, but it seems to me that taking the drunken mo town sound of animal house and mixin it with the mo town on acid sound of Funkadelic would be perfection.

  Buy Animal House, steal a car, and drive out of town to the “Death Delay” Club. I’m go be there to dance wif yo dates.

  This is the sound track to one of the greatest movies of all time! The songs are all great. The movie shows an exaggerated version of America as it SHOULD be, not the repressed, over-litigated Hell in which we live today.
