  • This is the first tinted moisturizer that I’ve found that blends in perfectly. The color isn’t too orange or too pink on my fair skin. But my favorite thing about this product is the way it minimizes my large, clogged pores. I was extremely impressed by that.

I also found the coverage was just right for my skin. I’m 22 and I occasionally present some redness, but I have no acne or acne scars to cover. I like my coverage sheer but enough to even out my skin tone, and this product did that.

The only reason I didn’t give this a 5, is that I got it as a sample so I don’t know what the long term effects of it would be on my skin.

  • This tinted moisturizer goes on smoothly and blends well for even coverage. It isn’t at all streaky or sticky like some of the others I’ve tried, but I have two criticisms: 1) Although it doesn’t feel greasy, when first applied it leaves your skin with that “I’m wearing suntan lotion” shine. 2)It does not stay put in very hot or humid weather, as it isn’t water-resistant and comes off when you sweat. I would still highly recommend this product for every-day coverage.

  • I recently received a sample of this from Sephora and was instantly hooked!

I had been using Boots No. 7 Soft & Sheer Tinted Moisturizer in Fair, which was perfect at first, but over time (a month or so) became too dark and orange-y on my skin.

You Rebel Lite is so light and sheer (and yellow-based, not brown) that it’s almost impossible to not blend it in perfectly. It evens out my skin tone, but my freckles are still visible (which I like). It does look slightly oily at first, but you could easily fix that with a little powder. I actually use Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Relief Powder-Gel over top to control shine (I put it on before my blush and it helps it last all day, too).

If you’re looking for something with heavy coverage, this is not for you, but if you just want something light and sheer to even out a little redness/uneven skin tones, this is it.

  • I am really glad that Benefit cane out with You Rebel Lite. I had tried the original You Rebel in the store and was really disappointed as it was just too dark, but this one works fantastically! I am impressed by how nicely it smoothes over the skin, and how well it evens things out. You are not going to get full coverage out of any tinted moisturizer, that really isn’t what they are developed for. This gives a nice light coverage, blends beautifully over concealer, leaves your skin looking healthy and dewey and has an SPF in it, which to me is critical. It makes it so easy to get out of the house as you get your moisturizer, skin evening and SPF in one product. If you are looking for a tinted moisturizer I would definately give this one a try!

  • I have tried foundations, tinted moisturizers, etc..well, I’ve spent big bucks trying many brands..so I decided to give it a try when it first came out at Sephora. IT IS GREAT! The color is perfect for fair skin women, and it blends very well. It is very light and has a great coverage. I use it along with the Boing concealer from benefit and it is a perfect combination. It doesn’t accentuate fine lines and looks very natural, and the best is that you get your color and protection, too in one step. I already finished my first tube and just started the second one. I use it daily and it lasts, so it is worth the price!! Great product from Benefit Cosmetics!
