  • Great Model requires no glue or paint however additional model painting customizes appearance.

  • Overall the GP Gundam kits are probably my favorite kits (GP-01, GP01FB, GP02A, GP03). Durability is of course an issue as they are MODELS, not TOYS. They are awesomely fun to put together; just sitting there for a few hours building them up legs, waist, chest, arms and head (that’s the order I do them in) is a very rewarding experience.

  • I’m kinda dissapointed. Parts that should be a certain color are a different color and it doesn’t look as cool. It takes a while to take out and put in the core fighter. hands don’t hold weapons very well and shield is hard to pose with (it’s too big.) the arms and legs are very stable and won’t fall off, but the corefighter/body is a different story. Model kits aren’t meant to play with, so it shouldn’t fall apart if you don’t play rough with it. the detail is AMAZING, it has lots of moveable parts, which is great!

  • As has been stated, there is at least one glaring Injection Mold flaw. It is the junction between the “shin” armor plates. One leg has the proper male/female connections, yet the other leg does not. I personally overcame this by slicing down the male part flush with the armor, and simply pressing the two halves together. The other panel has a “cover” piece that hides the fact that there isn’t a true connection underneath; it still holds wonderfully.

Overall, the Full Burner is an excellent kit. Lots of detail, and I personally love how the shoulder armor is positionable.

To address the Core Fighter cover stability:

This is of course a model, not a toy. For a model, it is quite sturdy but for a toy, it is not. Besides, since this kit came with only one core fighter, its really pointless to ever not have it installed… that is unless you plan on reenacting the battle over Von Braun!

  • I am a major Gundam fan and when I came across these mastergrade models on Amazon I almost salivated.

All in all, I would say I am somewhat satisfied with this particular model kit. A non-structual critical part was misformed during the injection molding proccess, which left it unusuble and missing 90% of the part.

And the shoulder armor seems to come very loose and sag, Which can be fixed with a little bit of glue.

It also feels very flimsy in where the Upper body and lower body are held together by the core fighter.

It also takes some patience with the hands to get them to hold weapons correctly.

All in all, I believe my only satisfaction with this model comes with the fact that it is another to add to my collection. If I was not a gundam fan I would not be happy with how this model turned out for me.
