  Excellent for early development of hand-eye coordination, shape recognition and categorization, and creativity. My neice immediately was enthralled with this toy despite overstimulation from competing toys she received on her first birthday (many of which had the usual noises and eye-candy). She’s going to be a smart girl when she grows up!

  I love the look and feel of this lovely toy. I bought it for my 2 1/2 year old grandson, and I think it would be more appropriate for a younger child, around 1 1/2. Still, lovely and fun toy.

  I have this for my child, and have given this as a gift to a few of my friends for their childs 1st birthday. All of the parents have said nothing but great things. I enjoy buying Melissa and Doug products.

  My daughter loves this toy so much. It is very durable and colorful.I was looking for something educational and was not sure if she would like this too much. But now she plays with it more than any of her other toys!

  Bought this for my one year old and my 5 year old likes it just as much!! Great toy to teach many different things including color, shapes, sizes and more!
