  This book will help you make money if you know which way interest rates will go. The trouble is, you don’t know. So the book is useless.

  This book goes over the author’s system of buying and then trading preferred stocks for profit. His system is based on 6 years of historical data – how preferred stocks behave in falling and rising interest rate environments. Trading preferred stocks has more risk than purchasing insured CD’s and potential users of the system presented in the book should thoroughly research the preferred stock market before-hand.

  Unfortunately the vast majority of investing books published are pollyanna cheerleaders. Very little time is spent on the risk of these investments whether it’s preferred stock, bonds, commodities, futures, gold, real estate, options, etc. This book is no different. Buyer beware

  The title of this book indicates it is a general discussion of preferred stock investing. Instead it is about the author’s system for investing in preferred with preferred stocks.

  If your just starting with preferred stock investing this book is a must read,& it is easy to follow. The many tables he uses are easy to understand. I can’t wait to start investing.
