  Perfect tape measure as expected. You pay a premium for Stanley quality/warranty but it is well worth it.

  We have a hard time finding the 16″ x 1″ measuring tape at any local store, it is the best measuring tape for our use and definitely worth waiting to arrive.

  We recently purchased a Stanley 33-516 16×1 inch tape measure for my husband. This size (16×1) is almost impossible to find without it coming in the “case on steroids” size. I did quite of bit of looking to find it, so we ordered two … one for now and one for later. It came quickly and just as expected. If I had a “negative” to offer, I don’t believe the dimensions given in the ad were correct, but the consumer comments let me know this was the product for which I had searched.   The Powerlock series are my favorite tapes by far due to their shape and durability. The 16′ tape is a rare find, and has 32nds for the first 12 inches. On the back side it has random construction info, like wood dimensions, nail thicknesses, conversions, screw:drill dimensions, etc. Very nice tape measure.

  I agree with the other review & comments. I’m a commercial paperhanger with over 20yrs in the trade. 16′ is usually all I need, and the thinner 3/4″ tapes are not nearly as good, and usually end up breaking quickly.

  I found a few of these at the local Target about a year ago. I bought 2 of them, and then noticed that they don’t stock them anymore. I’m glad to find them here on Amazon at a good price w/ free ship. I think I’ll stock up on a couple more just in case they stop making them, or they become even harder to find.
