I bought this dvd for my kids who just love Pink Panther, they are enjoying it very much. It brings back a lot of laughs and fun for my husband and myself as well! I’d recommend it for anyone who loves Pink.

“The Pink Panther” was a favorite of mine growing up, right up there with “Looney Tunes” and “Tom & Jerry,” but if you pop in a DVD of any of these shows and play all the episodes, you’ll typically wind up with a mix of great cartoons for all ages along with the “Hey, it’s the 60s. Let’s fall back on comedic gunplay. Have someone get shot in the face a lot”-type of thing.

This collection (“Pranks in the Pink”) has quite a few Pink Panther episodes on it (something like 25 or more). The ones without any talking are typically the best (“Dial ‘P’ for Pink,” “Pink Punch,” “The Pink Tail Fly,” and “The Pink Phink,” to name a few), but there are a few too many with a lot of talking and gunplay (“Vitamin Pink,” “Pink Ice,” “Pinkfinger,” “Sink Pink”) and also boozing (“Pickled Pink”).

So, if you want to expose your children to “The Pink Panther,” be cautioned that some of the cartoons may not be appropriate for them. If, however, you don’t have children, then you’re merely in for a bunch of Pink Panther shows that range from poor to mediocre to good to excellent.

I really like the Pink Panther Cartoons, but I liked the “Ant& The Ardvark”(Anteater) Cartoons even better. Are they included in these DVD Discs?

In my opinion, none of the episodes captured the best of the Pink Panther series.
