  I won’t be the first person to pretend deny that I don’t like the Beatles. But to kill MJ to save some money is ridiculous. We all know that Michael owned the rights to the Beatles but no one is stopping to think that it is rather convenient that he died and two months later and multiple Beatles recordings are released as well as the rock band series that you’re looking at today. According to the investigative report there is much speculation to how one of the remaining Beatles and a major company has released these songs in new format for resale. When someone dies, who is to gain? Pay attention to the timeline, stop living a lie. If you agree rate this comment FIVE STARS!   I dont actually own, nor have I played this game but that doesnt seem to matter much on Amazon. Im basing this review on the Beatles as a band. The Beatles have been ripping off other artists for years. They sound like Jet and E.L.O and the way their always running around is a total rip off of The Monkeys. Their one guitar player is a total rip off of that guy in The Traveling Wilbury’s. So many of the songs listed have been stolen from the Across the Universe soundtrack….its pathetic. I wouldnt spend any money on this and would advise all to avoid it like the plague. Stick with original artists like Nickelback and Disturbed.

  Being a musician myself i’m just not really into the whole rock band video game thing, or guitar hero(anymore) for that matter, was fun for a while now they just take it to far. I mean alll these bands making rb and gh is just getting overkill. But onto the Beatles, well my dad is a music major and was a teacher for sometime so i grew up listening to Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Buddy Rich(yes i’m a drummer), Credence, Bloodrock etc etc. He never owned one Beatles record, well suffice to say i see why, some of there songs where just down right bad, and horribly written. Now when they went there separate ways i thought hmm ok not bad, especially John Lennon. I just don’t look at them as a band that needs GUITAR HERO, or ROCK BAND, there music just isnt that complex or fun. I tried it for about 5 minutes then was just bored out of my mind, now i’ll admit some of the cover songs bands have done over the years werent to bad, but its because they were a LOT better musicians than the Beatles. Ringo Starr actually much like Lars from Metallica can’t even do a drum roll, look it up, this is fact. The only 3 bands i really think should have a guitar hero after them are Black Sabbath, Slayer and Iron Maiden. I still probably wouldn’t play them that much since i actually do play real music, if it gets kids into playing real guitar or drumms or singing great, but i just dont see that happening. So basically this is just for Beatles Fans only that of which i’m not.

  Btw. The Beatles never moved on stage, wow what a stage presences they had.
  
  Also if you think Yellow Submarine or Back in the USSR are killer songs, you probably think Bob Dylan is the greatest vocalist ever.:)

  This product should be banned under trade descriptions laws. For a start the beatless were and never have been a rock band. They’re a pop / boy band who went “off the rails”.

  Their mind-numbing tracks would be very easy to play on a normal guitar, never mind this dumbed-down version.

  Their “fans” make the bold assumption that the beatless are basically the root of all “rock” music ever, and that if they had never existed, “rock” would still sound like Elvis. But when you say that The Beatles are the be all and end all of “rock” music today, you’re an idiot. Rock and Roll existed before the beatless, and it would probably have existed and done fine without them.

  Look at Led Zeppelin. They basically evolved from the Yardbirds, who formed around 1962, roughly the same time as the beatless. Lets assume the beatless never existed (if only). The Yardbirds probably would have gotten just as big, having Clapton, Page, and Beck all joining the band, and Page turning the band into Led Zeppelin, maybe sounding slightly different that the Led Zeppelin we know today.

  On top of that, bands and performers such as Chuck Berry, The Yardbirds, and The Kinks would have had a larger influence on true rock ‘n’ roll. And of course, we can’t forget Les Paul, who not only made great advances in recording technology, but also helped greatly in the popularisation of the electric guitar, an essential element of virtually all rock, country, funk, metal, prog, punk, and much avant-garde.

  During the publicity campaign for Rock Band and the remastered CDs, Thumbs mcfartney made the the surprise claim that it was he who was responsible for the besuited look which launched the band’s commercial career.
  
  In a recent interview he told how, while on holiday with his family at a Butlin’s holiday camp in the mid 50s, he experienced an epiphany; four young men walked past the swimming pool dressed in exactly the same clothes. That night it became apparent they were a band, who appeared on stage in the ballroom wearing suits of the same smart cut. Mcfartney’s tale does not accord with any previous accounts, including that of their late tailor Dougie Millings.

  In Brian Epstein’s 1964 autobiography A Cellarful Of Noise (How apt!!) their manager describes in detail how he had to address their “scruffy” early leather-clad rocker look. Epstein’s assistant Alistair Taylor recalled in his own book that on December 14 1961 – the day after the beatles signed their management contract – the foursome were marched to Birkenhead tailor Beno Dorn (a friend of Epstein’s) for fittings for matching made-to-measure dark blue suits. They also had their hair neatened at Liverpool’s top-notch barber Horne Brothers.
  
  And if that’s not record company marketing, then what is?

  It is just crazy what these guys who produced this game did to customers who bought it and also purchased (or have)the XBox 360 Elite -as it happened to me. For if you go by the information on the game box they just say that almost any mic would work with the game, but the real nightmare begins when you open the box and the game booklet says bluntly that it will work with almost any mic, BUT the XBox 360 Elite headseat! So I ended up with a game that I cannot play, unless I buy a proper mic to do it.
